BODY & SPACE PHYCHOLOGY DARK ABSURD SURREAL PHILOSHOPHY

My journey

When I was a kid, I wasn’t dreaming of becoming an artist. I was dreaming of BELONGING. I was born and raised in Nicosia, Cyprus, in a family of refugees. I grew up with stories of riots and pain but also stories of gatherings, family bonding, and strong friendship. These stories sculptured me and gave me my values.

I think an artistic soul takes strength from the unknown, always looking for something more, always feeling a xenos. There is something “supernatural” in an artistic soul that feds strangely by nature, by living organisms but also from a “musenian” divine force curiously enjoying the company of others but at the same time living within the self.

As a professional, I have been exercising architecture with a focus in conservation. The truth is everything we do; we do in space. We base and share our connections with others in physical space. What connects the people with the space? The stories.

Everything around us, IS Art. Art can unite us. Because this is where we tell our stories. And this is how we get connected and emote. So, let’s tell them together, as raw and real as they can be.
